Dr Asif Qasim is an interventional cardiologist and serial entrepreneur with public sector and private company board experience in executive and non-executive roles. He is a board advisor to several early-stage companies and angel Investor in media, publishing, fashion and technology, as well as being a mentor to start-up Founders and clinical entrepreneurs

Asif has over 20 years’ experience in digital media and online networks, with expertise in multi-channel communications, including social media performance marketing. He devised and launched a pre-Facebook online network for sport and exercise. Asif developed MedShr to enable doctors to share and discuss clinical cases using an app that protects patient privacy and confidentiality. MedShr has grown rapidly to become the world’s leading network for doctors and has global impact on patient care.
